Wasp Control
Your tension rises as you hear the ominous buzzing of a wasp nest directly above you. The fear of being stung by one if not hundreds of these yellow and black insects is enough to make you run.
Living Habits:
Wasps are considered social insects that live in a large colony with one egg-producing queen. They can build their nest several different ways with wood fibers, mud, underground and under the eaves of houses or branches. They are much less active or aggressive at night usually only sting when provoked.
Appearance:
Wasps come in a variety of colors from dull black to brown, red, yellow or even blue with a metallic shine. Unlike bees, they have a connection between the abdomen and thorax and can be up to two inches long.
Diet:
Depending on the different species of wasp, most feed on insects and in especially spiders.
Breeding:
There is only one queen per colony who produces all the eggs.
